Mission Statement

Mission Statement
Our objective as a club is to encourage and assist all writers in their creative endeavors through the exchange of ideas, helpful and supportive suggestions and publishing possibilities. Whether one is an  aspiring writer, non-published, published, or professional writer our purpose, as a writers’ club, is to share our experiences in all genres of writing.

About "The Writer’s Club"
As our Writer’s Club is primarily, although not exclusively, comprised of expats we all benefit from the extraordinary experiences we have had and the fascinating lives we lead. The more challenges many expats overcome, the more they enjoy the adrenaline of feeling themselves grow. After a while, this becomes the new normal and makes life “back home” seem boring in comparison. This is why so many expats, regardless of financial or social standing, resist giving up the lifestyle.
Living abroad, we feel free, independent, adventurous, curious, valued for our skills and self-aware. As an expat, we have the ability to live in a foreign country and just be left alone to experiment, experience, learn and grow and we bring it all to the table as we write. Considering our incredible individuality we share the stage with unforgettable, expat writers in history such as, Ernest Hemingway, Gertrude Stein, James Joyce, and Ezra Pound.
Club members are people who write because they want to. Not all of us want to become famous. Not all even want to be published. We just want to express ourselves, tap our uniqueness and become better writers.
In short, published or not, experienced or just beginning, we have the pleasure of being encouraged to write because we love to do it, and we learn to write better through the encouragement and suggestions we receive each time we share our efforts at the

 Writers’ Club.

  1. Hi all this is a really great idea and wonderful opportunity for all people
I am a struggling writer living in the Philippines, I have written 14 eBooks all non-fiction and relating to health an healthy Living, I have my books on amazon and every other major internet bookshop but have had very little sales. The reports and feed back I have had have been very positive and encouraging, but the sales results are disappointing. I believe the reason that people are not buying my books is simply that they do not know about them. It is very easy to write a book now and self publish it, what is very hard is to promote it and find people who are willing to pay for it, with out spending thousands of dollars. I will find out how to post my eBooks to this site (free of any charge to any members of course) so you can read them and maybe be inspired to write your own or send me any constructive comments whether positive or negative about my work. If my books are boring, uninteresting or unappealing in any way I would love to know about it, only in that way can I grow and improve. Most people I know who read my books say they are great, but they really are not objective, I feel that they possibly want to encourage me and do not want to offend so say positive things rather than giving constructive criticism where needed. My skin is thick and I want honest opinion about my work...anyway thanks for reading my rave...Simon Staub.....
